MANILA, Philippines - Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla denied Sunday reports that she walked out on an interview when asked about her daughter's former boyfriend, actor-endorser Dingdong Dantes.

Padilla was asked to give her comment on Dantes' words that he wanted to start his year right by talking to Karylle's parents. Instead of answering, Zsa Zsa walked away.

The singer's reaction was uploaded on video-sharing website YouTube and is now circulating online.

In an interview with "The Buzz,"  Padilla clarified that she was only joking when she did her "walk out."
 
"Nagulat ako kasi sabi ko hindi talaga intention nagpapatawa pa nga ako. Kasi siyempre feeling ko din kapag Dingdong ang topic parang ang tagal na, 2010 na. Let's move on people, parang ganoon ang reaction ko.

"Yong iba kasi parang natarayan sa akin, kumbaga closed book na sa amin. Kasi Karylle has really moved on beautifully. Pero kung talagang gusto niya ng closure at talagang gusto niya kaming kausapin just call," Padilla said.

Padilla said she had a good relationship with Dantes when Karylle was still dating him. She said she considers her daughter's breakup with Dantes "a closed book."

In a separate interview, Karylle defended her mother against the negative issue, saying that her mom is a good person. She also said that everything between her and Dingdong should be put to an end.

"You know my mom, she's a very good person. Ayaw lang niyang mag-comment kasi matagal na matagal na 'yong panahon na lumipas," Karylle said.

Karylle and Padilla are regular talents of ABS-CBN 's weekly variety show "ASAP XV" while Dantes is one of the bankable leading men in another network.
