MANILA, Philippines - Actress-host KC Concepcion takes on her first assignment as the host of the reality singing competition “The X Factor Philippines” on Saturday (Jan 21), as she goes to the University of Pangasinan-Phinma in Dagupan City as part of the Luzon audtion leg of the much-anticipated show.
After Pangasinan, Concepcion will head to First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities in Batangas the following Saturday (Jan 28) to test who among Batangueno hopefuls have the "X factor."
Concepcion shared her excitement to witness first-hand Pinoys talents in singing and to personally see who among them has what it takes to be the next singing superstar.
The competition is open to all Filipinos, aged 13 and above, who can sing and who thinks he or she has the "X factor." Hopefuls can audition solo or as a duo or group and must bring a minus one CD of their audition piece.
First introduced in the UK, “The X Factor” has conquered more than 30 countries as of mid-2011 and produced more than 50 winners around the world, including Melanie Amaro, who became the first season winner of “The X Factor USA” last month.
