Actor Jake Cuenca downplayed reports saying that he and former sweetheart actress Roxanne Guinoo are now back in each other's arms.

Cuenca said there is no truth to the rumors, explaining that he and Roxanne are now good friends.

"Tsismis 'yan. Kasi siyempre sa ngayon vina-value namin 'yung frienship namin. Magkaibigan kami ngayon at saka masaya ako na nakikita ko siya ulit at nakakapagbatian kami," Cuenca said.

It will be recalled that Cuenca and Guinoo started to converse again after they worked together for the first episode of "Maalaala Mo Kaya" for the year 2009.

The actor who is now linked with actress Bea Alonzo previously dismissed reports that he was seen together with Guinoo having dinner.

Though he denied having a date again with Guinoo, Cuenca said that his relationship with the actress is now better than before.
 
The actor is now busy with a lot of showbiz commitments.

Currently, Cuenca is part of ABS-CBN's newest television series "Tayong Dalawa" with Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu.
