Piolo shares agreement with son regarding showbiz aspirations

Actor Piolo Pascual shared that he made a compromise agreement with his son Iñigo regarding the boy's desire to become a star.
Pascual said that he still does not want his son to join showbusiness. But he added that after spending time with Iñigo during the holiday break, he agreed to reconsider his decision once his son graduates from high school.
"Ayaw ko talaga. I'm so strict about that because I want him to prioritize his education. Given a choice, bata pa 'yon and iba yung education. Hindi mo na mababalikan yon. Sabi ko maski high school, then after that we choose. But ako, kung ako ang masusunod, ayaw ko talaga," the actor said.
Pascual said that the agreement with his 11-year-old son has inspired the boy to do better in school.
"He understands it. That's why he is doing better in school. Because he is motivated, he wants to impress us (para) pumayag kami. But I told him my condition is that he has to finish high school first," he added.
Pascual is now readying for another television series after shooting his hit film "Love Me Again (Land Down Under) with Angel Locsin. He said that he will be flying to the US in April to be with his son for two weeks.
He will meet his son again in June, to attend the boy's grade school graduation.
