Judai-Coco Martin movie in the works, says manager
5 more films lined up for 'young superstar'
MANILA -- Dubbed the country's "young superstar," Judy Ann Santos has the option to star in any of six proposed movies by four of the biggest film production outfits in the country.
Santos' manager Alfie Lorenzo said the 34-year-old actress currently has several offers to star in films by ABS-CBN's Star Cinema, GMA Films, Viva Films, and Regal Films.
Sa Viva naman, gusto nila 'yung [pelikula kasama si] Aga Muhlach," Lorenzo told reporters on Wednesday night at the sidelines of his birthday celebration.
Released in 2007 as a co-production of GMA Films and Viva Films, "Ouija" is a horror thriller co-starring Santos, Jolina Magdangal, Iza Calzado and Rhian Ramos.
Santos' proposed big screen project with Martin and Muhlach will mark her first team-up with either leading man.
The entertainment columnist is referring to the 2002 family drama "Magkapatid" co-starring Santos and Cuneta, and the 2010 film "Hating Kapatid" topbilled by the young superstar and Geronimo -- both produced by Viva Films.
In earlier interviews, all three actresses expressed interest in working together for a film that shares a similar theme as the previous Santos-starrers.
"Tapos si Mother naman, kay Judai atsaka kay Ryan (Agoncillo) na pinirmahan three years ago pa, na hanggang ngayon hindi pa nagagawa," Lorenzo added, referring to film producer Lily Monteverde of Regal Films.
Agoncillo, Santos' husband of almost four years, previously starred with the actress in a TV series and three films. They have two children.
Of his talent's continuing success over the years, Lorenzo credited right timing and Santos' dedication to her career.
Apart from hosting the reality cooking show "MasterChef: Pinoy Edition", Santos is also expected to star in ABS-CBN's upcoming drama series "Against All Odds".
