MANILA, Philippines - Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo hopes to join the list of local stars who want to take up culinary studies.

In an interview during the launch of her endorsement for fast-food giant Jollibee on Wednesday, Geronimo said she would like to take a cooking course if given the time.

"Pero sa ngayon wala pa pero someday eh gusto ko ding karerin ang pagluluto," Geronimo said.

Geronimo shared that she developed her interest in cooking when she was still young but she wasn't allowed to cook to avoid getting hurt.

"Matagal na pero hindi ako pinapayagan kasi medyo may pagka-clumsy po ako. Medyo nakakabasag, pero mao-overcome din natin 'yan kapag medyo magaling na tayo," she explained.

"Gusto ko [matuto magluto] since tumatanda na din naman ako at nage-endorse ako ng pagkain at ng mga gamit sa pagluluto," she said.

Currently, Geronimo is gearing up for a concert tour.
