Cedric Lee denies Vhong's 'extortion' claims
MANILA – Businessman Cedric Lee denied that he and his friends, including Deniece Cornejo, were extorting money from “It’s Showtime” host Vhong Navarro.
This after Navarro said Lee asked him as much as P2 million for “damages” he allegedly caused to Cornejo.
“There are issues of extortion. Number one, we never extorted any money from him. It’s very clear in my text to him, which he can show to his lawyers or to the law enforcers. The text I said to him is for the damages caused by this incident. Damages to property.
Lee went on to defend their actions, saying Navarro was beaten up because he tried to fight back.
Lee said they are planning to file a case against Navarro over his alleged attempted rape of Cornejo “within the next couple of days.”
