Actor Jomari Ylana has shrugged off the reported crying incident between girlfriend Pops Fernandez and Martin Nievera in a press conference for their Valentine reunion concert last Saturday.

During the said press conference, Nievera, Fernandez’s former husband, broke down when reporters asked him about the real status of their relationship.

Fernandez was also brought to tears upon seeing the emotional Nievera.

Yllana, who is the producer of the “Missing You” concert, said he believes that it was about time for both Fernandez and Nievera to shed that “extra baggage” that they have been carrying for years.

"Emotion 'yan. Walang kahit sinong makakapigil niyan. Emotion 'yan, kung lalabas ay lalabas talaga 'yan," he said.

"Okay lang sa akin. Feeling ko nakatulong ako sa dalawang mabuting tao. Para akong naging instrumento. I'm okay. I'm happy and I'm happy for them and now we have a show," the former "Gwapings" member said.

Ylana, a self-confessed fan of Nievera and Fernandez, added that he respects Fernandez’s past.

He also said he admires Nievera for being honest. He said it took a lot of courage to do what the concert king did in the press conference.
