'E-Boy' pilot leads nationwide TV ratings

MANILA, Philippines -- The pilot episode of ABS-CBN's newest series "E-Boy" ruled national TV ratings on Monday (January 30).

Topbilled by MMFF 2011 Best Child Performer Bugoy Cariño, the show ranked No.1 in the overall top programs list.

According to Kantar Media/TNS, "E-Boy" registered a 28.1% ratings nationwide beating GMA7's “Munting Heredera,” which only got 18.8%.

In an interview with KrisTV on Wednesday morning, Cariño thanked everyone who watched "E-Boy."

"Sana po ay manood kayo araw-araw pagkatapos po ng TV Patrol," the child star said.

"E-Boy" tells the story of “E-Boy”, a child robot who was given human characteristics that led him to a journey where he will learn what being human is all about.

“E-Boy,” airs weeknights, after “TV Patrol” on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.
