The Buzz host Kris Aquino said that she has nothing against Charlene Gonzales and to prove this the controversial actress/host even recommended her to be one of the hosts of ABS-CBN’s new morning show. The said show will replace Boy & Kris, which is hosted by Kris and Boy Abunda.

"They were asking for names about who we would like to recommend for the morning show that we'll vacate," Kris related on The Buzz yesterday (February 1). "I said, 'Alam n'yo kung nag-iisip kayo na bagay na ibalik sa TV, why not Charlene? She (Charlene) and Ruffa. But I guess masyadong mahal kung siya, si Ai at si Ruffa together."

Kris justified that this meant that she had put whatever misunderstanding she had with the former beauty queen behind her. "So if there's bad blood or whatever, you're not gonna wish more work for somebody."

The tiff between Charlene and Kris took place in a Randy Ortiz fashion show last September 2008. Apparently Kris made a joke about Charlene’s outfit during the show for the former host of At Home Ka Dito was the only one garbed in blue while the rest of Randy Ortiz’ star clients wore black.

Kris admitted after the said event that she was wrong to joke with Charlene that night and apologized.

During a recent interview, Charlene opted not to talk about the issue.

“I'm okay with everyone," Charlene began. "The industry is small. You have no bridges to burn. You'll always bump into somebody again, and again and again. So mas masarap pa rin to live life knowing that you have a good relationship with everyone."

Charlene also just answered a curt ‘no’ when she was asked if she has already talked to Kris about the issue.

Kris declared that the issue should not have been revived because it has been five months since it has happened. "I said sorry immediately, and then I let it be at that and she's the one naman na nabuwisit sa akin, so give it to her. Kung hindi niya ako feel, okay lang talaga," said Kris.

She even commended Charlene for her nice statement on not burning bridges with anyone in the business. "It was a very nice statement. I think tama 'yung sinabi niya, why burn bridges," Kris ended.
