MANILA, Philippines - Actress Valerie "Bangs" Garcia denied that some members of the Azkals disrespected her during a recent dance number in "ASAP 18."

According to reports, Garcia cried after the production number, supposedly because she felt offended by the football players.

But in an interview with "The Buzz" that aired on Sunday, the actress clarified that she was disappointed not with the athletes but the outcome of their number.

"Sobrang bait nila sa akin. Isa sila sa nag-comfort sa akin noong time na 'yon. I got disappointed kasi hindi namin na-perfect 'yung dance," she explained.

"I understood na hindi sila dancers so hindi ko naman sila pwede masisi," Garcia added.

Currently, there are rumors that Garcia might join the cast of new series "Kahit Konting Pagtingin" with Angeline Quinto, Sam Milby and Paulo Avelino.
