MANILA, Philippines -- Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo will be caught in a "love triangle" with a Filipina-American teen actress in an upcoming big screen project.

Fifteen-year-old Hope Soberano joined the popular onscreen couple during a recent pictorial for their launching movie with the working title "Love Me, Maybe."
Unlike her team-up with Padilla in the recently concluded series "Princess and I," Bernardo said the film centers on one young man (Padilla) caught between two ladies (Bernardo, Soberano).
Before starting work on "Love Me, Maybe," Soberano appeared in the Kapamilya afternoon series "Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo" as the younger sister of Jake Cuenca's character Paul.
In his column published on Journal in May last year, Ogie Diaz, Soberano's manager, said the showbiz newcomer only had to audition once to land her role in the drama series.
In an audition reel released in 2011 (above), Soberano, who was 13 at the time, shared her talent in singing, saying her dream duet is with British singer Adele.
