MANILA, Philippines -- Actress Cherie Gil, who separated from Israeli violinist Roni Rogoff after 20 years of marriage in 2008, is happy being single.

During the press conference for Star Cinema's "A Moment In Time" on Tuesday, Gil said work is her priority right now.

"It was really nice to grow old with someone but I'm not looking into that right now. I'm really trying to concentrate with myself," Gil said.

"As of now I'm happy where I'm at and I still hope that one day I will find a man who I can be with, to laugh with. Pinakaimportante sa akin 'yun -- to laugh, have fun and enjoy together," she added.
