MANILA, Philippines - Hosts of ABS-CBN's noontime show "It's Showtime" asked viewers to give them a time to adjust in their newest work.

In their official Twitter accounts, hosts Jugs Jugueta, Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda admitted that there were still lapses during their pilot episode on Monday, but they are trying their best to fix it.

"Nasa adjustment period pa lang ang It's SHOWTIME. Kaya sana po maunawaan nyo kung may mga palpak. Pasasaan ba't magiging maayos din ang lahat," Vice Ganda said.

"Alam po namin n marami pa kming kailangang i-improve s programa. Marami pang dapat puliduhin. At gagawin namin yan pra s ikasasaya ng lahat," he added.

Vice Ganda also extended his appreciation to all the people who supported the show and apologized to those who weren't entertained.

"Maraming SALAMAT po Madlang People sa pagsuporta nyo sa It's Showtime. Sa mga nagenjoy salamat! Sa mga di naaliw pasensya n po," he said.

For her part, Curtis thanked those who gave their honest opinions and feedback so that they could improve the show.

"Thank you to everyone that watched #itsshowtime today! We are all still adjusting and we are super thankful for you guys understanding us and giving us pointers! It makes us feel loved coz we feel your sincere concern for us!!! We can do this!!! #itsshowtime ♥," Curtis tweeted.

For Jugueta, he stressed that "It's Showtime" was conceptualized to entertain Filipinos and not to compete with anyone.

"Showtime is here to make the madlang people happy! We're not here for the ratings nor to compete with anyone," Jugueta said.

On Monday, “It's Showtime" episode landed on the list of local trending topics on Twitter.
