MANILA, Philippines - Actor Jake Cuenca admitted that he was offended by the way some people teased him and his former girlfriend Melissa Ricks last January 8 on "ASAP 2012."
Cuenca said he got a little upset by the way people are trying to force him and Ricks to patch things up in front of the camera.
"Maganda siguro kung magkakaayos kami in our time, in person, hindi 'yung pinilit dahil may camera sa harapan mo."
Meanwhile, in line with reports that Ricks cried backstage after the incident, Cuenca said he sincerely understands where his ex-girlfriend is coming from and he couldn’t help but show concern.
Right now, Cuenca said that he is still hoping that he and Ricks could truly patch things up.
"Tulad ng sinabi ko dati para sa akin wala akong masamang alaala, with us, with anything. Wala talaga akong grudges," he said.
"Hopefully one day maging maayos. But you know, no matter what, masaya ako para sa kanya.
