MANILA, Philippines - Actress Iza Calzado, who was once linked to President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, shared her thoughts on reports that the President is now seeing Korean TV personality Grace Lee.

Calzado said that, as a good friend of Lee, she really wishes the two of them the best of luck.

"Si Grace kasi kakilala ko talaga siya, doon ako sa side ni Grace. Puwede akong magbigay ng comment on that. Masaya ako kasi si Grace is a good person," she said.

"I've known her for couple of years na rin. My impression of her is disenteng babae, she's intelligent. I'm happy for her. I think she is somebody that the President can date," Calzado added.

Recently, the President admitted that he is indeed seeing Lee, whom he met at the inauguration of a power plant in Cebu last year.

In a separate interview, Lee asked the public to give her time and space to get to know the President more.
