Janice de Belen and Gabby Concepcion

MANILA, Philippines - Actress and television host Janice de Belen revealed she is happy to share a good friendship with her former boyfriend Gabby Concepcion.

Concepcion and de Belen were seen hugging each other after an event inside the ABS-CBN compound recently.

In an interview with "The Buzz" aired on Sunday, de Belen said: "Hindi ba dapat ganun? 'Yung memory mo ng first boyfriend mo dapat maganda."

"Kahit hindi naging maganda nung nag-break kami, Gabby and I have remained friends in spite of the past. First love remains friends," she added.

In a past interview, de Belen said she is open to working with Concepcion anew now that they're both contract artists of ABS-CBN.

"Naman, oo naman. Susmaryosep," she said. "I think mas marami kaming ginawang pelikula ni Gabby after nu’ng nag-break kami."

Concepcion's non-showbiz wife recently gave birth to another daughter named Savannah. The actor also has other children from previous relationships, including Kapamilya host KC Concepcion with veteran actress Sharon Cuneta.

De Belen, meanwhile, has four children with former husband John Estrada, and another with former boyfriend Aga Muhlach.
