Nora Aunor opts for facelift in Japan
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines' only "Superstar" will be undergoing a facelift in Japan as part of her preparation for her much-awaited comeback.
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, Aunor said she chose Shinagawa Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Japan to smooth out her laugh lines, dermal-fill her cheek bones, and lift her face to look more beautiful on screen.
"Hindi naman problema 'yong lines sa taas (sa noo) so laugh lines lang siguro," Aunor said.
During the initial checkup, Aunor had only one request to her Japanese cosmetic surgeon--not to touch or fix her eyes.
Aunor, who stayed in United States for a long time, said Thursday she will make a comeback in local showbiz.
From the US, she flew to Japan for the cosmetic enhancement. She was welcomed there by her friend, showbiz columnist Aster Amoyo and Ian De Leon, her son by former husband actor Christopher De Leon.
Amoyo, who will now handle Aunor's showbiz career, arranged the actress's visa requirements at the Japanese consulate in California.
Aunor's visit to Japan was her first trip abroad after her 5-year hibernation in the United States. 
The "Superstar" and her son will stay in Japan until she recovers from the cosmetic enhancement.
After the recovery, Aunor will fly back to Manila to face all showbiz offers from television, music, magazines and even movies.

Nora Aunor is a living legend and needs a big welcome. Her contributions to Filipino Cinema are immeasurable. She has been hailed as The Best Actress of All time.
She needs to make ground breaking films worthy of her talents. Calling Lav Diaz, Mario O'Hara, Celso Ad Castillo. She needs the respect. I don't think judging her based on her past is necessary. In comparison to Michael Jackson, she is a saint, but look at how fans of Michael Jackson and fans all over look at his artistry and not judge him based on his personal life. Nora's personal life is not perfect, but that's her personal life. Her artistry is the one that she offers the public. As an artist there is no comparison. She out sold the Beatles and Elvis Presley with record sales. She still has the biggest selling single of all time. If inflation adjusted her Guy and Pip loveteams films puts all the new loveteams to shame in boxoffice sales. She still has the longest musical variety show "Superstar" She has done phenomenal theatre. She made us proud with international best actress awards. Himala has been hailed as the best Asian film of all time by CNN. She has produced quality films worthy of international recognition. She will continue to make film events if allowed. Her contributions and artistry are mountains. Are we going to wait when she dies to recognize all of this? Are we going to continue to crucify her for a personal life foible that is a smidgen compared to her enormous art multimedia contributions? Don't judge her personal life and recognize that she is a National treasure and deserves all the accolades and respect while she is alive.

Local Showbiz Needs You Ate Guy
To Ms./Mr.Carmichael: Bakit sino ka ba, malinis ka rin ba? Who do you think you lambasting Ate Guy like that. Kahit ganyan ang nangyari sa buhay niya before at least hindi siya kagaya ng iba diyan na panay ang deny ng deny. Kaya nga maraming ayaw sa kanya na producers o ibang tao sa loob ng showbiz at "matigas" kamo ang ulo niya dahil ayaw niyang nakikitang may naaaping maliliit na tao sa industriya. At ayaw niya makihalibalo sa showbiz gatherings dahil pulos plastikan lang.
We admire so much her bravurah performance. Aminin natin wala pa rin makakapantay sa acting niya not even the so-called Star for All Season, Mega Star or Diamond Star. She is the only real Movie Actress of all times.
So Ate Guy go go go wala silang pakialam. Basta we are always here for you. Goodluck. At least, you are being HONEST at hindi mo pinagkaila.

Kahit anong gawing surgical enhancement sa mukha ni Ms. Nora Aunor hindi na babalik ang dating natural na ganda natuyot ng droga. Pati boses medyo may tama na rin. Pangunahing sinisira ng droga ay utak at dahil dito apektado ang galaw ng lahat ng bahagi ng katawan. Mabuti hindi nabaliw si Ms. Aunor. Masamang halimbawa sa mga Filipino ewan ko lang kung ganoon pa rin kainit ang pagtanggap sa kanya ng masa. Ms. Nora Aunor tatak ex-convict! Ang tao nag-kakamali hangad ko ang kanyang pag-babago. Ang himala ay nasa tabi-tabi lang baka naman makatisod siya ng isa.
