Last week, Padilla admitted that his wife was affected by his love scenes with his soap's leading lady, former girlfriend Kris Aquino.
The wedding and honeymoon scenes of the former real-life couple had viewers glued to their TV screens. In the episode of the action-drama series aired on February 5, Bogs (Padilla) and Roxanne (Aquino) were seen exchanging vows, before going on a honeymoon trip to Boracay.
After the episode aired, Rodriguez posted cryptic messages about love and jealousy on her Twitter and her Instagram accounts.
But the following day, Rodriguez shared that she had a talk with Aquino, who tweeted her, "I'm so happy we talked. Be happy forever, okay?"
Padilla said it was Aquino who convinced Rodriguez not to leave him.
