Anne on bar incident: It's a lesson learned
MANILA – Anne Curtis said the controversial incident that happened at a bar at The Fort in Taguig last November involving her, John Lloyd Cruz and several others is now part of her past.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News reporter Ginger Conejero, Curtis said she has learned her lesson from what happened and she does not want to dwell on it anymore.
“Yung totoo naman diyan, lahat naman kami the next day, okay na. nung lumabas lang talaga [sa public yung issue], things were blown out of proportion. You just got to learn to deal with it. Accept it for what it is. Keep on going,” she said.
Noting that this is not the first time that she got embroiled in a controversy, Curtis said: “It’s a lesson learned and you just add that to experience. Ganun na lang yun.”
During the time when she was drawing flak because of allegedly slapping Cruz while drunk, Curtis said she just prayed for strength and better days to come.
“Life goes on, you have to move on. That’s exactly what I did. I just kept on praying talaga for a positive and amazing 2014 so God is good. If we’re all okay, everything is okay,” she said.
Curtis said she is grateful that the ABS-CBN management gave her the title role in “Dyesebel,” which is one of the major projects of the Kapamilya network this year.
“It’s sinking in. Siyempre nasuot ko na yung buntot, nag-shoot na ako. Siyempre nandun yung kaba pero yung excitement talaga, I can’t wait. We’ve shot a lot of underwater scenes for the official trailer. Excited akong makita kung anong itsura,” she said.
Aside from her upcoming fantasy series, Curtis also has her hands full with “It’s Showtime” and an upcoming movie titled “The Gifted.”
With all her recent achievements, Curtis said she would describe her showbiz career in three words -- "fun, rebellious and a journey."
