How 'Showtime' hosts celebrated Valentine's Day
MANILA -- How did the hosts of ABS-CBN noontime variety program "It's Showtime" spend their Valentine's Day?
During the show's opening on Saturday, the hosts shared how they marked the special day with their loved ones.
Billy Crawford, who has admitted courting Coleen Garcia, said he was happy to spend Valentine's Day with her.
"Ay masaya, masaya... Magkasama kami," he said, while pointing to a smiling Garcia standing beside him.
Crawford, however, refused to reveal what they did. "Ah, sa amin na yun."
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda said he spent Valentine's Day at home. "As usual house arrest, sa bahay lang," he said.
While Vice Ganda has openly said that he has a boyfriend, he has never revealed the latter's identity nor shared details about their relationship.
"Kagabi siyempre Valentine's, napatuwad ako sa tuwa. Bumalentong ako sa upuan. Siyempre na-surprise ako. Pero hindi, kaya nga ako na-surprise eh kasi pagdating ng alas dose hindi dumating," he said jokingly.
For her part, Anne Curtis said she and her boyfriend, food blogger chef Erwan Heussaff, celebrated Valentine's Day with friends.
"Masaya, nag-group Valentine's date kami. Tumulong kami sa pagluto kay Erwan, nag-cook siya ng dinner... Nag-games kami, card games," she said.
Karylle meanwhile said she was with her mother, Zsa Zsa Padilla, on Valentine's Day. The bride-to-be said they went to the cemetery to visit the late Comedy King Dolphy. They also watched a movie together.
Both Teddy Corpuz and Jugs Jugueta, meanwhile, spent their Valentine's Day performing with their bands at separate gigs. Corpuz also shared that he gave his wife a Pomeranian dog as a gift.
Eric "Eruption" Tai also shared that he gave roses to his girlfriend while Ryan Bang just spent Valentine's Day at home.
