Julia dreams to dance with her dad on debut
MANILA, Philippines – Actress Julia Montes turned emotional on Sunday when she talked about her only wish as she turns 18 next month.
Speaking to “The Buzz” host Charlene Gonzales, Montes said it has been her dream to see her family complete on her debut.
Kaya rin ako may special section for my father figures, kasi sabi ko kung wala yung dad ko, maraming puwede,” she said.
Aside from the usual 18 roses, Montes revealed that she will also have 18 tulips from the men who have been a father figure to her.
While she is already happy with the love and support from her family and friends, Montes said her life would be complete if she gets to meet her biological father.
Masabi lang niya sa akin na 'I'm so proud of you,'” she said.
Julia Montes is Mara Sthnittka in real life. She has not seen her father, a German, while growing up.
Just like her character in her previous television series “Walang Hanggan,” Montes said she also dreams of spending special occasions in her life with her dad.
Wala yung dad ko for that special event. Sana sa debut ko, or kung hindi man, sana kahit in the future, masaksihan niya yung special moment,” she said.
Montes will be turning 18 on March 19.
