MANILA, Philippines -- While actress Kim Chiu prefers not to talk about her rift with "Ina Kapatid Anak" co-star Maja Salvador, she denied that she walked out of the set after filming a fight scene that left both of the actresses bruised.

"Huwag na lang nating pag-usapan 'yon. Tapos na 'yon," Chiu told ABS-CBN News when asked if she took the cat fight with Salvador personally.

According to a source of entertainment website Philippine Entertainment Portal, Salvador asked Chiu if she was alright after filming the physical confrontation. But the "My Binondo Girl" star allegedly ran to her dressing room, crying. The source added that Chiu "walked out," forcing the set to pack up.

Chiu said this is not true.

"Umalis ako pagkatapos ng take kasi tapos na. Hindi naman ako nag-walkout. Bakit naman ako magwa-walkout? Tapusin natin saka tayo umalis," she told ABS-CBN News, stressing that they keep their professionalism while on the set.

"Kung ano 'yung nasa script ginagawa na lang namin. Ang sa akin, mahalin ko ang trabaho ko at mamahalin din ako ng trabaho ko at huwag na nating isipin ang personal na buhay. Ang mahalaga ay nagpapasaya kami ng mga tao," Chiu explained.

The actress said she's just happy with the high ratings of "Ina Kapatid Anak."

Based on the data from Kantar Media, the Friday episode of the series which featured the the grand 18th birthday celebration of Celyn (Chiu) and Margaux (Salvador) earned 40.1% national TV ratings.

"Hindi namin ini-expect na (aabot ng 40%). Hindi kami nag-e-expect pero ipinagdarasal namin. Iba pala 'yung feeling na umabot ng ganoon kasi ito ang first teleserye ko na umabot ng 40," she said.

The rift between the show's lead stars began in January, following reports of a blooming "relationship" between the "Thelma" actress and actor Gerald Anderson, Chiu's forrmer boyfriend.

While Salvador has kept mum about her ties with Anderson, the "Budoy" star has expressed intentions to court the actress "if given a chance" and were reported to have gone out on a date last Valentine's Day.

Meanwhile, Chiu revealed that she has ventured into the bakeshop business.

"Noong nag-aaral ako bago ako umuwi ng bahay ay bibili ako ng bread o siopao bago ako umuwi. So naisip ko gusto ko ding magkaroon ng ganoon," Chiu said.
