Vice Ganda on Yael: 'Akala ko okay kami'
MANILA - Vice Ganda said he was surprised by an offensive comment supposedly made by singer Yael Yuzon about his "love team" with Karylle, the latter's fiancee, noting that they had been in good terms.
Speaking on "Aquino and Abunda Tonight" on Thursday, the comedian said he has yet to talk with Yuzon about the rift, which stems from the Sponge Cola vocalist allegedly expressing disapproval of the interaction between him and Karylle on "It's Showtime."
"Okay talaga kami ni Yael. In fact, we went out together, kaming tatlo.
According to Vice Ganda, his rift with Karylle worsened when he learned from "It's Showtime" director Bobet Vidanes that the actress had been trying to avoid being paired with the comedian due to Yuzon's reaction.
The "Sisterakas" star earlier said Karylle has since apologized and even sent him flowers. He added, however, that it may take time before he can resume being comfortable with Karylle personally and as a co-host on "It's Showtime."
Vice Ganda also said he is still unsure of attending Karylle and Yuzon's March wedding, saying he has yet to receive an invite and that he may still feel at odds with him as the date approaches.
