Melai: No boob job for me
MANILA, Philippines – Melisa “Melai” Cantiveros is not keen on having her boobs done.
In her radio dzMM interview Sunday, Cantiveros shot down suggestions for her to undergo cosmetic enhancement surgeries.
“Hindi po ako magre-retoke. Injection nahihirapan na ako. Paano pa kaya mga opera-opera?” she said.
Cantiveros has been named Big Winner of hit reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Double Up, which held its finale on February 13 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Cantiveros, the 21-year-old winner from General Santos City, got the highest number of text votes.
Viewers had apparently taken notice of Melai’s humor and bubbly personality while she was still inside the PBB house.
They became drawn to her all the more, however, when she and 3rd Big Placer Jason Francisco’s romance began to blossom inside the house.
The 2 eventually became the hottest love team, which drew thousands of followers and fans. Their love team has been dubbed “Melason,” a combination of their first names.
Up until now, she is still overwhelmed by the support of the public, Melai said.
“Over-over po akong overwhelms. Sobrang happy ko po dahil maraming sumusuporta sa akin… Sobrang happiness ko sa mga taga-General Santos City,” she told “The Buzz” in a separate interview.
She also noted: “May mga taong hindi nila ako napapansin noon. Ngayon, grabe napapansin na nila ako. Sinasabi nila maganda ako in person. ”
‘Melason’ fever
The PBB Double Up edition might have ended, but the “Melason” fever is not yet over.
ABS-CBN is airing the hottest love team of Cantiveros and Francisco in what is touted to be the first reality series (realiserye) in the country.
The program will air for 5 weeks at 10 a.m. on ABS-CBN. It is hosted by Bianca Gonzalez.
It showcases how the wacky couple deals with fame, busy schedules and challenges in their relationship, especially with the beautiful fans of Francisco following them around.
Just like Jim Carrey's "The Truman Show", Francisco and Melai will be placed in a controlled environment where all the people they will meet are accomplices.
They are aware of the cameras following them, but they do not know that they are being covered for the show “Melason in Love.”
Because of this, we will see “Melason’s” candid and spontaneous reactions to different situations. And by the end of the season, we will find out if their love is true or not.
As the first reality show in ABS-CBN’s morning block, “Melason in Love” will change the landscape of morning viewership. More importantly, it will provide the answers to questions like “Are Francisco and Melai’s feelings for each other true?” and “Will Melason’s love survive the outside world?”

In behalf of the TFC Subscribers here in Jeddah,Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia,would you be able to look at the time slot of the MELASON IN LOVE which is being shown via The Filipino Channel.The time slot / airing time is 7:10 (1st airing time) then 7:45 (second airing time)...Airing the MELASON IN LOVE in the morning is very inconvenient to us because this is the time when most of us, if not all...are going to work.Would you be able to look for a time slot when most of the OFW based in Saudi Arabia would be able to watch MELASON IN LOVE?...Airing the show after 6PM (Saudi Time) will be nicer

Now that PBB Double-Up have ended...hinahanap hanap parin po namin sina Jason at Melissa.We are really happy that we were given a chance to see them everyday,in the Melason Realiserye.Thank you ABS CBN for doing this...at least completo ang araw namin pagmapanood namin silang dalawa....Pwede po bang maki-usap sa Management ng ABS CBN...na kung pwede naman baguhin ang time slot ng airing ng MELASON Reali-serye dito sa Saudi Arabia via TFC? kasi alanganin naman ang oras pag-papalabas dito sa Saudi...07:10AM?...imagine?..kung kelan paalis na kami ng bahay para pumasok sa aming mga trabaho...duon naman ipapalabas ang MELASON REALI-SERYE?...unfair diba?we are TFC Subscribers based in Saudi Arabia..who supported, and continously supporting MELASON up to this time,kahit na nakalabas na sila ng house ni KUYA.Kaya sa ABS CBN...please try to be considerate to us viewers of ABS CBN shows specially MELASON...
