'Bourne' star Jeremy Renner meets PNoy

MANILA, Philippines - (UPDATED) Hollywood star Jeremy Renner paid President Benigno Aquino III a courtesy call on Wednesday morning.
Renner's meeting with the President was confirmed by ABS-CBN correspondent Willard Cheng.
"President Aquino now speaking with Jeremy Renner http://yfrog.com/klsw2hfj," Cheng posted on Twitter.
Renner, who is in Manila for the filming of spy fiction thriller "The Bourne Legacy," came in cargo pants and a barong Tagalog, an embroidered formal garment of the Philippines.
His photo with the President inside Malacañang is now circulating online.
After the meeting, Renner and the production team of "The Bourne Legacy" extended their appreciation to Aquino for the Filipinos' hospitality, said Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino, who accompanied the group to Malacañang.
They added that they are happy that they decided to choose the Philippines as a filming location.
Renner will shoot the film for six more days before leaving the country. He is scheduled to film some scenes today at the Jones Bridge in Manila.
The 40-year-old actor arrived in Manila last month to film the latest installment in the popular "Bourne" series. Aside from being in shooting locations in Manila and Palawan, he has also stayed in tourist favorite Boracay island.
Renner starred with Tom Cruise in the film "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" before shooting "The Bourne Legacy" with Hollywood stars Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton. -- With a report from Ginger Conejero, ABS-CBN News.
