MANILA, Philippines –- Actor Derek Ramsay assured everyone that all is well between him and his girlfriend Angelica Panganiban.

Several netizens on Twitter noticed that Ramsay was "too cold" when he greeted the actress on Valentine’s Day.

But in an interview with Push.com.ph, Ramsay said they are okay and that they were together on February 14.

“Kasi nga sinabi ko lang, ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ malamig na daw kaagad ako. Siguro naman ‘pag Valentine’s gusto ko naman sabihin in person, hindi lang over Twitter, ‘di ba?” Ramsay said.

“Angel was in the hospital for Valentine’s. I went over there to see her. So hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling yun. We’re very okay, we’re very good,” the actor added.

Meanwhile, Ramsay refused to disclose his Valentine’s gift for Panganiban.

“We don’t do that. We don’t give gifts on Valentine’s. My belief is we do that all throughout the year. Whenever we have time, we can go out on a special date,” he said.

Instead of gifts, the actor said they decided to just organize a charity event to make the day special.

“We're organizing a charity event for kids in Muntinlupa. But since Valentine’s Day fell on a working day and a school day, we’re hoping to do it this Saturday or the next,” he said.
