Kris Aquino leaves SNN, for now
MANILA, Philippines - Popular TV host Kris Aquino is taking a leave from her nightly entertainment gossip show "SNN:Showbiz News Ngayon" until the May 10, 2010 elections.
In a message on her Twitter account, Kris wrote: "Wanted you to hear it from me. I'm taking a leave of absence from SNN until elections."
She said her "bathroom fall proved to me I just can't handle a schedule as full as mine. I'll be missing you nightly, but I hope it's really just for 2 months."
Aquino is juggling various showbiz commitments including the daily drama series "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo", the weekly entertainment show "The Buzz" and the popular talent search "Pilipinas Got Talent."
The Queen of All Media was rushed to hospital last Friday (February 19) after she slipped and hit her head while taking a shower.
After several tests, Kris's doctors gave her permission to leave hospital last Monday (February 22) and was advised to take a rest for days.
On Wednesday (February 23), Kris finally went back taping for her hit television series "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo."

Sad Reality
I was really hurt and so sad to read your comments regarding a person whom we do not knew personally. She is indeed a public icon but she deserves the right to live the way she wanted. Why don't we try to evaluate ourselves first and ask if we are worth to live than she is? Kris' life has been open to the public. She is an icon the I admire the MOST. Frank and Totoo....

What a character this Adie and a Hypocrite too. Mabaho na ang utak, mabaho pa rin ang bibig. Saying a lot of bad things to a person yet still will watch TV even if the person is on it is something I do not understand. What made you so mad and have hatred with Kris Aquino. It must be very personal. Advise ko sa iyo, mag attend ka ng retreat ng simbahan. Sayang ka, Buhay ka pa, sinusunog na ang kaluluwa mo sa impiyerno.
