MANILA, Philippines – If her father, Sen. Manny Villar, is not running for president, Camille Villar has disclosed that she would consider Richard “Dick” Gordon, Eddie Villanueva and Gilbert Teodoro.

Camille admitted that she has always been a fan of Gordon, Villanueva and Teodoro’s “good works.”

"If he (Manny) weren't running, Dick Gordon is good, Bro. Eddie Villanueva is good, Gilbert Teodoro is also good. And those are the people that I would definitely consider and I've always been a fan of their good works," Camille said in her interview on ANC’s newest hour-long newscast, “The Rundown.”

Incidentally, it was Gordon who accused Manny of attempting to bribe him to withdraw from the race. Camille made the statement before Gordon revealed his allegations.

Camille, the 24-year-old daughter of Manny and Cynthia Villar, has been very active in her father’s campaign. Recently, she organized a "Rockatropa" concert at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City, an event attended by thousands of people.

Her efforts seemed to be paying off as shown by her father's good performance in various election surveys.

Meanwhile, if her father emerges victorious, Camille, as a first daughter, vowed “to help as many people as I can.”

"I don't really think about it because I don't want to be too presumptuous. There's still a lot of work to do… But whatever my role will be...whatever it is my dad has always taught me to help as many people as I can whether you are in the public life or you are in the private life," Camille said.

A lot will change if Manny wins, but Camille said quitting her job is not going to be one of them.

"I think I can juggle both. Working in real estate is something that I've always loved ever since I was a kid, and I look forward to learning a lot and focusing on that at the same time. I also want to reach out to many people as I can and help out and make a difference," she said.

I just feel sad about this young lady. For a papa's girl she is, she is of course blind and will always be seeing her father as "perfect". I don't like Manny Villar as candidate by default, and considering that he seems to be not protecting his daughter from politics makes me think that he is also irresponsible as a parent (sometimes, it even makes me think he is using her for his politics, what a dysfunctional parent if that's the case!)

I hope the voters will not fall for this young girl's charms. Hey, we're talking about the future of our country and our children here not just some showbiz crap (which we Filipino's are so intoxicated to begin with). I do believe that she is a good person. But I also believe that she has not really tasted "real" hardships, insults, frustrations and pains in life which makes her so vulnerable and too blind to see her father's ugly side.

What a pitiful sight to see this young, beautiful, and gifted girl trying to protect her father and being subjected to such publicity and stress. Oh well, the problems that our country is facing is way bigger than anything like this. Vote with your head and your heart!

ANYONE BUT VILLAR and ESTRADA . . .

IF MR "MONEY" VILLAR IS REALLY TELLING THE TRUTH, WHY NOT ASK YOUR DAD TO ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE OF GORDON AND SUBJECT HIMSELF TO A LIE DETECTOR TEST WITH GORDON TO PROVE HIS INNOCENCE. THIS WILL SURELY PUT THE RECORD STRAIGHT WHO IS TELLING THE TRUTH. . . .

Oh you mean Noynoy? That Aquino-Conjuanco 50 year old kid? The scion of a century old wealthy, landowning oligarchs?

Camille Villar has led a very very sheltered life, even spoiled perhaps, she has never been oppressed, tasted poverty, and went hungry. Anyone who believes her is a complete nutter. I would rather pay more attention to the opinion of a poor person than this girl.
