Movie with John Lloyd or Piolo? Marian speaks up
MANILA – Marian Rivera is keeping her options open amid reports that there is brewing project that would pair the GMA-7 talent with either John Lloyd Cruz or Piolo Pascual of ABS-CBN.
But as much as she wants to work with a lot of actors, Rivera told ABS-CBN News on Tuesday that she does not want to preempt anything.
“Mahirap kasi magsabi na ‘Ah oo gagawa ako ng movie with John Lloyd’ or with ganito hangga’t hindi pa nagsisimula 'yung isang project. Parang minsan mahirap magsalita kasi madaming nagbabago,” she said, citing the movie which she was supposed to do with Coco Martin which did not push through.
In March 2012, Regal Entertainment Inc. even announced the still-untitled project with the two stars from competing networks, which would have been directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes.
“Like with Coco Martin before, dapat may gagawin kaming pelikula tapos hindi natuloy.
Meanwhile, Rivera said she is flattered that Kapamilya stars Anne Curtis and Kathryn Bernardo complimented her March 2014 cover of men's magazine FHM.
In the cover photo unveiled last Thursday on FHM's official website, the 29-year-old actress is seen posing wearing only earrings and a necklace at what appears to be a beach.
In Rivera’s personal Instagram account, Curtis commented on the cover photo and told the actress how gorgeous she looked.
“Nakakaloka ung body mo @therealmarian GANDROOOOUZ!” Curtis said.
To which Rivera replied, “@annecurtissmith yaaaay :) Hahahha take care :).”
Bernardo, on the other hand, commented on a behind-the-scenes picture which was posted by lensman Mark Nicdao. Referring to Rivera, the “Got To Believe” actress said: “She’s so perfect!”
Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Rivera said she is elated to receive kind words from actresses not from her home network.
