International young diva Charice was caught by surprise when her showbiz crush Sam Milby talked to her via phone during her guesting on morning show "Ruffa & Ai" Thursday. 

Charice arrived in Manila Sunday after her successful performance at the 81st Oscars afterparty in the United States.

Milby said he is flattered that someone as popular as Charice would look up to him.

"International star ka na at marami kang nami-meet na international stars and ako pa la ang crush mo siyempre very flattering," Milby said.

"Noong 'Little Big Star' days alam mo naman na fan na fan mo na ako at pati ‘yong tatay ko," he added.

Dubbed as “The Rockoustic Heartthrob,” Milby said Charice deserves to have all the blessings because “she’s so good.”

Charice, who is now gearing up to finish her first international album, extended her appreciation to Milby.

"Kuya Sam, super akong masaya kasi talagang una palang ikaw na ang crush ko. Kasi kuya kung natatandaan mo sa 'Little Big Star’ pa lang talaga super na akong nabaitan sa iyo," Charice  admitted.

Charice was a runner-up in the defunct talent search show "Little Big Star" that was hosted by “Pop Star Princess” Sarah Geronimo.
