MANILA -- Award-winning actor Coco Martin admitted for the first time that his "Ikaw Lamang" leading lady, actress Kim Chiu, had hurt his feelings in the past.

Appearing on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" on Wednesday, Martin opened up on his rift with Chiu while working on the 2010 primetime drama "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo," which also starred Kris Aquino.

"Ang daming beses po (nagtampuhan)," Martin told the show's host Boy Abunda.

Aquino, for her part, confessed that she had a role in the rift.

"He hated us talaga, nag-naughty lang kami ni Kimmy. Matagal yon parang mga one month niya kaming hindi kinibo," Aquino said, adding that she already apologized to Martin.

Although Martin did not go into the details of the rift, there were rumors circulating at the time that Chiu was making fun of Martin's fashion sense on the set.

But on Wednesday, Martin assured Abunda that he has since moved on and no longer holds any grudge against the "Bride for Rent" actress.

Meanwhile, Martin admitted that he feels pressured to live up to the success of the love team of Chiu and actor Xian Lim, which started on TV's "My Binondo Girl."

Asked about how some fans of Chiu and Lim have expressed their disapproval with their upcoming series, Martin replied: "Sa akin po artista ako, ito ang trabaho ko.

"Ikaw Lamang," which also stars Jake Cuenca and Julia Montes will premiere on March 10.
