MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) - Actress and "The Buzz" co-host Ruffa Gutierrez was reportedly pulled out by her mother and manager Annabelle Rama from the showbiz talk show program on Sunday.

Rama said that she pulled her daughter out of the live set of "The Buzz" after she became fed up with co-host Kris Aquino allegedly interrupting Ruffa regularly when they are both on the show.

"Naiinggit siya kay Ruffa siguro," Rama said during a phone interview over the talk show "Showbiz Central."

"Umiyak si Ruffa. Kanina pa, sa dressing room. Sabi ko, umalis ka na diyan sa The Buzz... Siya kasi makulit. Siya gusto niya magtrabaho. Ruffa, naiintindihan kita, nagtatarabaho ka sa ‘The Buzz’. Pero kung babastusin ka ni Kris eh hindi naman na tama iyon. At hindi ka lumalaban, eh binabara ka niya lagi. Ba't naman ganoon? Pinapabayaan mong api-apihin ka diyan?" she told host Pia Guanio.

Rama said that she already told ABS-CBN bosses that she was pulling out her daughter from the show.

"Ako, nagpaalam ako kay Cory [Vidanes, ABS-CBN Channel Head], kay Charo [Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN President], at saka kay Linggit Tan [ABS-CBN Head of Entertainment Production] na ipu-pull-out ko na si Ruffa. I did not tell them what's the reason, pero sa ginawa niya kay Ruffa... [kailangan ko sabihin sa] taumbayan, kaya ko pinull-out si Ruffa sa The Buzz, unang-una, pambabara ni Kris sa kanya di ko na ma-take," she said during the "Showbiz Central" interview.

"Ruffa, alam kong addict ka sa trabaho. Pero pag sa trabaho mo naman, kapag ginaganoon-ganoon ka ng mga kasama mo, hindi na tama 'yong ganyan. Kaya tama na pinaalis ko siya [at] mabuti na nakinig ka sa nanay mo," she said.

She also had some harsh words for Aquino.

"Kaya ako'y nananawagan sa taumbayan na huwag niyo na iboto si Noynoy [Aquino, Kris's brother running for the presidency], kasi hindi pa nga nananalo si Noynoy eh ang yabang-yabang na ni Kris. Akala mo siya na ang may-ari ng showbiz," she said during the interview.

Gutierrez and Aquino, meanwhile, have reacted to the issue mainly via their accounts on the social networking site Twitter.

Gutierrez, moments after the issue broke, simply tweeted emoticon :'(( on her Twitter account @iloveruffag.

In the succeeding tweet, she said that she is already home.

"Just got home...my babies gave me the biggest hug when I walked in. This is what truly matters. Family n loved ones :)," she tweeted.

"Finally smiling while watching "Going Bulilit" with the kiddies. Thank u for all the love twitterworld! Mahal na mahal ko kayong lahat!," she later tweeted.

On the other hand, Aquino refused to answer questions after "The Buzz" live episode.

Later, in a series of tweets posted after the show, reacted to the controversy, particularly Rama's call to the public not to vote for her brother.

"I invite everybody to review Buzz- my comment was said w/ affection & a sense of fun. Now if they will choose to lambast my brother who wasn't even on the Buzz, makes me wonder what the true agenda is- para siraan si Noy?," she said in her Twitter account @itsmekrisaquino.

"I'd like to believe Filipino voters r intelligent & will continue supporting Noy because he is the best man for the job," she tweeted.

Later, Ruffa made a statement on the issue, again via her Twitter account.

"Sana man lang I was given the chance to say goodbye properly to my colleagues on the Buzz who I've grown to love like family over the last 3yrs. Kung may ayaw sa akin sa the Buzz,may mga may gusto din po sa akin. Sana nabigyan po ako ng chance para magpaalam sa mga nagmamahal din po sa akin. Kahit dalawang piraso pa sila, karapatan ko rin namang magpaalam ng maayos. I'm just trying to do my job. This is not the first time. I'm also very diplomatic n can laugh about anything. Off-cam,the situation was far from pleasant. Yes, registered voters like me will certainly vote wisely. No need to make sira...I AM TEAM NOYNOY! But between now n the May elections many things can still happen. Its what name I will write that will clearly matter in the end. I would like to enjoy my time w/loved ones now. Salamat po."

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Corporate Communications issued this statement: "Sa tatlong taon na pagsasama ni Kris at Ruffa sa The BUZZ, nakita namin ang pagiging magkaibigan nila.  Walang intensyon si Kris na saktan si Ruffa sa programa. Pero kung hindi man nagustuhan   ni Ruffa ang nangyari, walang dudang maaayos nila ang anumang isyu sa pagitan nila sa isang mahusay na pag-uusap."
