Kris on acting: 'I was finally good enough'

MANILA, Philippines -- After having initial doubts about her talent for drama, host-actress Kris Aquino said she is now satisfied with her performance in ABS-CBN's primetime series "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw."
In her official Twitter account, Aquino thanked those who appreciate her work in the series, which also stars Anne Curtis and Robin Padilla.
"I'm reading all your tweets - THANK YOU for appreciating my work! Thank you from somebody who had serious doubts about her capabilities as an actress because I felt I wasn't good enough - tonight I was finally good enough. Thank u," Aquino said.
On Wednesday episode, Roxanne (Aquino) and husband Bogs (Padilla) had a dramatic confrontation after she tried to set up him up on a dinner date with Ruth (Curtis). Roxanne wants her husband to end up with Ruth, as she believes she is dying from colon cancer.
"May I just say to all those who tweeted me that u finally felt convinced w/ my performance tonight & now u like me- THANK U," Aquino said on Twitter.
She added: "May I also say to those who liked me even when I wasn't that good sa drama but OK sa horror & excellent naman sa hosting - thank u for the UNCONDITIONAL LOVE & loyalty. I know God will find a way for me to reciprocate!"
In her previous tweets, Aquino said that "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" will be her last series.
