Ruffa Gutierrez accepts Kris Aquino's apology
MANILA, Philippines – Ruffa Gutierrez has admitted that she got hurt by Kris Aquino’s remarks on "The Buzz" last Sunday about her decision to move to network TV5 that she decided to leave in the middle of the celebrity talk show.
Gutierrez said she wanted to go back on-air, but she was already “emotional” and could no longer proceed with the program.
“I know that we love each other and I know that we’ve been friends for a long, long time. Medyo nasaktan lang ako noon kasi doon sa mga parinig niya na, ‘Naku, you know mahal na mahal ako ng mga tiga-Laoag. Seventy percent ng mga tao nakikita ako dito (The Buzz).’ Parang pinapalabas niya na walang manonood sa akin sa TV5,” she said.
“I really wanted to go back on-air but I couldn’t stop crying. So, natanggal na ang pilik-mata ko, nag-smear na ang lining ko and I admit I was emotional,” Gutierrez said.
She also clarified that it was no walk-out.
“Hindi ako nag-walkout. Ewan ko ba kung bakit sinabing nag-walkout. Mga intrigero kayo. Masama bang umiyak sa dressing room,” she said. “Kung akala ng mga tao OA (overacting), ganoon talaga ang emotion ko noong time na ‘yon. Wala akong magagawa. Hindi ko talaga sinasadya ‘yon.”
She said she appreciated and accepted Aquino’s public apology. “Ako naman, I’m a very fun-loving individual and kaibigan ko din naman si Kris. And I have the highest respect for her.”
As for her mom Annabelle Rama's response to Kris's apology, Gutierrez said: “Sinabi lang niya, ‘Naku day, tanggapin mo na ang apology ni Kris, day. Kasi nakita ko naman nagpa-kumbaba na siya. Sige, okay na yan, day.’ Alam mo naman ang mommy ko, para siyang volcano.”
Gutierrez also said she hopes everyone will now “move on with dignity and honor.”
“Wala ng Team Ruffa, Team Kris. Team friendship na lang, di ba?” she added.

Try to be professional when dealing with the public especially with your status as celebrity. Name any celebrity in another country that would act like you... none, even if Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton or Britney Spear would not top off your OA attitude. If Kris Aquino apologized that means she uses her wise judgement on the situation. When is your stupid and ignoramus mother will appear on TV or press to apologize for her bad mouthing about Noynoy?
It boils down to, people (Aquinos) with class knows how apologized and knows how to make the most of the worst situation into a repairable one and people like you and your mother with no class don't and egotistical are worthless.
Yes, its a walk out...and dont justified it as not. I saw the show. Your OA kaartehan ang gumagana sa iyo. There's nothing wrong with the laoag comments, you idiot. You are just scared and afraid that nobody will watch you when you move to TV5. Well, idiot.. it was your decision to move and if you do not want to be tease of your move then give your resignation right away and do not show up on TV anymore to bid farewell (pakulo). Easy, when you do not like to work for someone, give your resignation. It is also your choice to stay until your move so if you are being teased that is your take... You did the wrong decision for appearing on the Buzz. You want ABS to give a second thought and offer more money for you. But that is not going to happen. Move on... and stop talking more.. this is just going to create more damage on your career. My advice for you Ruffa is to keep your mouth close and let the controversial die down... that is including your mother.
