The other life of Cristine Reyes
Sultry actress Cristine Reyes admitted that she would have become a chef if her career in show business did not take off.
Reyes confessed to “Metro” magazine that her other passion in life is cooking. In fact, she took up a short course in cooking with “Banana Split” co-star Angelica Panganiban.
“I love to cook for my family, my friends. We have regular dinners with the whole family during the weekend and I would cook for them, especially the stuff I’ve learned. No one’s gotten sick or died yet, so I guess I’m okay. You should taste my osso buco,” said Reyes, who is fondly called “Baby AA” by family and close friends.
Reyes added that she loves watching cooking shows on television.
“I love Jamie Oliver. It’s like everything he touches turns into yummy dishes… Someday, I will get him to cook for me,” Reyes, the cover girl of Metro’s March issue, said.
Reyes, one of the stars of comedy show Banana Split, played the lead role in the now defunct TV drama series "Eva Fonda."
