MANILA, Philippines - Young star Kim Chiu denied reports saying that she is jealous of actor Gerald Anderson's newest on-screen partner Sam Pinto.

Anderson has been Chiu's long-time on-screen partner. Pinto, a former "Pinoy Big Brother Double Up" housemate, recently admitted her admiration for the actor.

Anderson and Pinto are now working together in ABS-CBN's weekly series "Your Song Presents: Isla."

"Hindi naman (nagseselos) kasi trabaho naman 'yon [Isla]. Masaya ako para kay Gerald dahil may bago siyang show, and siyempre susuportahan nating lahat 'yon," Chiu said.

Meanwhile, in a separate interview with www.abs-cbnNEWS.com, Anderson stressed there's no reason for Chiu to get jealous since he and the latter know the real status of their relationship.

"Mag-MU (mutual understanding) na kami at wala talagang dapat pag-selosan na. Iba naman kasi ang personal life at work life," Anderson said.

The actor added that he and Chiu are both open about working with other artists, especially if the showbiz project is good.

"Basta maganda ang proyekto tulad ng 'Isla', why not? Para din sa growth namin," Anderson said.

For Chiu, she said that she will abide by ABS-CBN's decision in case they need to work in different projects.

Chiu and Anderson currently co-star in Kapamilya's hit television series "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo." They are also part of the weekly variety show "ASAP XV."
