As his family and fans celebrate his birthday, his former sweetheart actress Claudine Barretto put an end to the issues involving her relationship with Yan, and of the supposed rift between her and his family.
"Huwag na nating pag-usapan iyon kasi parang ako respeto na lang sa asawa ko. Saka tapos na iyon, tapos na iyon (Let's not talk about it anymore as a sign of respect to my husband. And that's already over, it's over)," Barretto told members of the entertainment media during the press launching of "Belo Skin Magazine."
After all the conflict in the past, Barretto confirmed that she is now on good terms with Yan’s family, and that Yan's sister goes to her house to visit Santino, her son.
"Okey kami ng pamilya, okey kami si Geraldine nakakasama ko binisita ako nagdi-dinner kami sa bahay binisita niya para makita si Santino, all is well ang ganda ng ending parang teleserye (I'm okay with his family, we are okay. Geraldine visits me, we eat dinner at our house, she visits Santino. All is well and the ending is good just like in a teleserye)," Barretto shared.
When asked if she believes that the late actor is happy wherever he is right now, Barretto said: "I’m sure, yes, yes."
