MANILA, Philippines – This coming April 19, the only son of Kris Aquino and James Yap will be celebrating his 4th birthday. And as an early celebration, Kris made sure that her son won’t be the only one who will enjoy the special event.

On Thursday, both Kris and son, fondly called "Bimby," went to Bahay ni Maria orphanage to share their blessings with other children.

Spending time with and giving gifts to the lesser fortunate were also part of how Kris celebrated her 40th birthday last month.

Disney Cruise

Kris revealed that this will be Bimby’s only party because next month, they will all be leaving for a cruise as her gift to her son.

“May Disney Cruise, that was my promise to them," the celebrity mom and presidential sister said.

"Ten nights ang cruise, all-Disney. Family lang talaga ito,” she added.

In good terms with ex

Aside from the Disney Cruise, another gift of the TV host for Bimby is a good relationship with her estranged husband.

According to Kris, she and Yap are maintaining a good friendship for the sake of their only child together.

She also disclosed that they have already settled all their financial issues as a couple.

“Lahat ng aspetong pinansyal tapos na talaga. Na-settle namin nang maayos, amicable, fair,” she explained.

Meanwhile, the Queen of All Media evaded the question when she was asked about Isabel Oli’s denial as the rumored girlfriend of Yap.

“Kung ayaw nila umamin -- kung may aaminin man sila -- it’s up to them. Ayaw ko makialam sa kanila para he will be nice to me,” she said.

As for her part, Aquino said the process of their annulment is still pending, thus she is not yet ready to love again. - Report from Marie Lozano, ABS-CBN News
