Sam initially worried about working with ex-GF Anne
MANILA – Sam Milby initially thought that it would be “awkward” being the leading man of his ex-girlfriend, Anne Curtis, in the ABS-CBN primetime series “Dyesebel,” especially since it has been four years since they last worked together.
“Akala ko lang ‘yung first day magiging awkward. Kasi four years na… hindi naman kami nagkikita. We haven’t had any projects together since ‘Babe I Love You’ (movie) which was four years ago,” the actor said in an interview on “Kris TV” aired on Wednesday.
Milby said, however, that things turned out smoothly when they started working together on the set of “Dyesebel.”
“It wasn’t [awkward]. Masaya naman,” he said.
When asked by “Kris TV” host Kris Aquino and guest co-host Carmina Villaroel if he still feels the butterflies whenever he sees his ex-girlfriend, Milby said, smiling: “Sa tingin niyo ba kailangang sagutin? I’m sure you already know that.”
“I think we were too young and too immature noong time na ‘yun,” he said of his previous relationship with Curtis.
Curtis is currently in a relationship with food blogger and restaurateur Erwan Heussaff, the brother of model Solenn Heussaff.
Milby, meanwhile, recently ended courting “Maria Mercedes” star Jessy Mendiola, saying that they are “better off as friends.”
