Horror film is next for Shaina Magdayao

Young star Shaina Magdayao is one busy artist these days.
Magdayao is a mainstay of musical variety show “ASAP ‘09” and is busy with her mall shows.
On top of her upcoming television series “Kambal sa Uma,” the actress said she is also shooting a horror film titled "Estrella" under Star Cinema.
In an exclusive interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Magdayao said “Estrella” will be shown anytime this summer. Other stars who are part of the movie are Jake Cuenca, Maja Salvador and Geoff Eigenmann.
"For teenager 'yong movie. Horror [ito] kasi hindi ba 'yon ang hilig ng mga barkada? They will go out then manonood ng sine," said Magdayao.
The youngest sister of Vina Morales said she accepted the project because of its good storyline and casts. She is also happy to be working with director Rico Ilarde who pushed her to stray from “soap acting.”
"Very different ang movie. Pati ‘yong director namin, iba ang atake niya… Parang mas gusto [niya] natural, hindi soap acting, kasi nasanay ako sa soap opera… Tapos gusto niya mas detalyado. Dapat ang lighting maganda," she said.
The young actress also said she finds it challenging to play a new role in her upcoming horror flick.
