Slater Young named 'PBB Unlimited' Big Winner
MANILA, Philippines – Housemate Slater Young was named the Big Winner of ABS-CBN reality show "Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited."
Young won the title on Saturday after garnering the highest percentage of votes with 40.02%.
Young, the housemate from Cebu, took home P2 million and other special prizes.
“Grabe, thank you. Thank you so much,” he said.
Young, an engineer, is from a well-off family in Cebu.
He joined PBB to prove to his family that he can accomplish things independently.
Inside Bahay Ni Kuya, Young proved that he is a born leader with a big heart.
At first, his parents did not support Young’s plans to join the reality show but they eventually gave their blessings.
Young is the first-ever male housemate to win the show’s regular edition.
Previous winners were Nene Tamayo and Beatriz Saw.
PBB Unlimited’s second placer was Pamu Pamorada, who was awarded P1 million.
Finishing 3rd place was Joseph Biggel while Paco Evangelista placed 4th with the lowest percentage of vote with only 17.01%.
Thousands of fans attended the PBB Big Night held at Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
Several Kapamilya stars, including PBB Celebrity Edition second placer John Prats and PBB Double Up winner Melai Cantiveros, took the stage to perform for the fans.
Three cast members of "Moron 5 & The Crying Lady"--Luis Manzano, DJ Durano and Billy Crawford--also graced the Big Night with their presence.
