The preparations for the most awaited wedding of Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are already in the final stage, the celebrity couple’s spiritual adviser said Thursday. 

" Final touches na… Alam ko na one year ago pa [nag-start ang wedding preparations]. Actually, matagal nilang pinaghandaan ito. So, I think talagang noong nag-decide sila ready na sila," Fr. Tito Caluag told abs-cbnNEWS.com in an exclusive interview.

Caluag will officiate at the Santos-Agoncillo nuptial.

"Kami ang nag-aayos. Magtutulong-tulong kami sa missalette, lisensya and everything. So, ayos na," said the priest.

When asked about the exact date of the wedding ceremony, Caluag was a bit evasive.

“Si Ryan na lang and Judy Ann ang tanungin niyo. Ano ‘yan parang seal of confession. Basta within 2009 [kasal na sila],” he said.

When pressed further if the wedding will take place third quarter of this year, the priest said: “Maybe.”

A source also told ABS-CBN News that the wedding might be held outside Manila.

Agoncillo and Santos have kept mum on their wedding preparations since they got engaged last year, triggering numerous speculations. Some of the information disclosed by the couple themselves include the name of their matron of honor (Megastar Sharon Cuneta) and best man (Agoncillo's brother). 

Why the secrecy? The two reasoned that they want to keep the ceremony solemn.

Agoncillo proposed to the actress at Antulang Beach Resort in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

“I'm so happy for them kasi ang tagal na nilang inisip ito. Ang tagal na nilang pinaghandaan at tsaka talagang readying-ready sila,” Caluag said.
