"Yanggaw" is a story of an ordinary family in the rural area with an extraordinary problem - their youngest daughter has been inflicted with “yanggaw,” or the deliberate transformation of a human being into an aswang.

Prior to its Star Awards nominations, "Yanggaw" was the top winner at the 2008 Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival.  It won best director, best actor, best supporting actress, and best supporting actor awards.

It was also shown at the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
