Lorna still in US to assist Rudy in cancer treatment

In the recent past, there were speculations that their marriage was on the rocks, until Rudy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the whole brouhaha was reduced to just that... rumors.
LT would do anything to help Daboy in his condition, and she is definitely doing her part.
The couple went to the U.S. before Holy Week to watch the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez bout at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. They were with friends, including Bong Revilla and Lani Mercado. But the Revillas went back home immediately and LT and Daboy were left behind for the latter’s cancer treatment.
"The series of tests on Rudy proved to be optimistic. We already had a second round of monitoring his cancer condition and according to the doctors, it’s improving," LT said.
"Malaki ang improvement. May time na paggising ko sa umaga, para akong baterya na recharged. Pero may time na masakit ang likod ko pero nawawala naman. (The improvement is significant. There are times when I wake up in the morning and I feel I am like a recharged battery but there are times my back aches but it disappears suddenly)," said Daboy.
Buhay-Amerika for LT
LT is enjoying doing things by herself, including household chores, in the United States. She does practically everything; she cooks, markets, cleans the house, launders clothes, washes dishes, and most especially, takes care of Daboy. She didn’t realize they would stay longer abroad this time, and she forgot to bring along a house helper.
She sees to it that Daboy takes his medicine regularly and she monitors his condition, calling on the doctor when some unusual bodily reactions occur in Rudy’s system.
The couple is thankful for all the prayers of their friends and their fans.
The Fernandezes will still be in the US until the last week of April while Rudy undergoes intensive cancer treatment.
Support from the Gutierrezes
Meanwhile, a lot of show biz folks are also praying for the speedy recovery of Rudy.
One perfect example is the Gutierrez family.
Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama together with their children Ruffa, Richard and Raymond and other members of the family go to church and hear mass as early as seven in the morning at the Christ The King Church in Greenmeadows to pray not only for their personal wishes but more so, to ask the Lord to cure Daboy of his malady.
The Gutierrezes are neighbors of the Fernandezes in White Plains, and usually spend a lot of time together.
