ABS-CBN is set to do the television adaptation of comic series "Galema, Anak ni Zuma."
 
The Kapamilya network and the creators of the original Zuma series, director Ben Yalung and writer Jim Fernandez, have agreed to bring it to life again this time on television.

Fantasy series director Wenn Deramas, who is behind"Marina," "Kampanerang Kuba" and "Dyosa," will direct the television version of Galema.

Now, speculations are surfacing on who will play the role of Galema.

Some say the role will be given to actress Anne Curtis, who already appeared on numerous fantaserye like "Kampanerang Kuba" and "Dyosa."

Others, meanwhile, say Galema will be portrayed either by Angelica Panganiban or Alessandra de Rossi.

Amid the speculations, the Kapamilya network has yet to reveal the cast of the upcoming TV series.

In 1985, "Zuma" was made into a film, with Max Laurel (Zuma) and Snooky Serna (Galema) as the lead stars.
