Kris, Bimby set to join 2014 MMFF
MANILA -- Host-actress Kris Aquino hinted that she will again be joining this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) along with her son James "Bimby" Yap Jr. after last year's box-office hit "My Little Bossings."
In her morning show "KrisTV" on Thursday, Aquino revealed that she already has three offers for the 2014 MMFF but is asking his son to choose the movie he wants to do.
"Alam mo this early kasi pina-plano na 'yung for Metro Manila Film Fest. Sana talaga tatlo ang katawan ko. Tatlo na 'yung nag-offer," she said.
"Pero isa lang ang pwedeng gawin. As we speak (her manager) Deo (Endrinal) is speaking with Tita Malou," she added, referring to Star Cinema managing director Malou Santos.
"Kasi si Bimby, siya pinapili kung ano ang gusto niyang gawin. Namili si Bimb. I want my son to be happy. His happiness is my happiness," Aquino explained.
Aquino and Yap starred in "My Little Bossings" along with child actress Ryzza Mae Dizon and comedian Vic Sotto for the 2013 MMFF.
Last February, Sotto hinted that the movie could have a sequel.
