Laughs as Vice jokes about Anne's jellyfish attack
MANILA - "It's Showtime" mainstays on Friday sent their well-wishes to co-host Anne Curtis, following a jellyfish attack while the actress was filming scenes for "Dyesebel" last Wednesday.
In the opening minutes of the noontime program, co-hosts Vice Ganda, Kim Atienza, Vhong Navarro and Billy Crawford addressed Curtis and wished her well as she remains confined at St. Luke's Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City.
Later in the live episode, Vice Ganda drew laughs when he made light of Curtis' encounter with box jellyfish, which is considered as one of the most poisonous creatures.
In the "Mini Me" segment of the show, Vice Ganda compared Curtis' mouth to an open lunch box, saying she could have easily eaten the jellyfish to prevent them from stinging her.
"I love you, Annie!" the comedian said.
On Twitter, Curtis said she is set to undergo one more test for her heart, but assured her fans that she is now "out of the danger zone."
Please pray for me that results are positive.... For now, I'm glad to be alive... Thank you Lord. Thank you again for all your prayers.
