Comedian Jason Gainza was rushed to a hospital early Sunday after he collapsed while taping for comedy show “Parekoy,” weekly entertainment show “The Buzz” reported.

As of posting time, there is no word yet about his condition and why he collapsed.

“’Parekoy’ is being combined with ‘Banana Split.’ While they were taping last night, Jason Gainza collapsed. Nanigas ang isang parte ng katawan [niya]. Dinala siya sa ospital,” host Kris Aquino revealed.

Co-host Boy Abunda said the incident occurred around 3 a.m. Sunday.  

The comedian rose to fame after he was named first runner-up in reality based-show Pinoy Big Brother in 2005.  

Aside from Parekoy, he appeared on numerous television shows including “I Love Betty La Fea,” “Volta,” “Lastikman,” and “Aalog-Alog.” He is also part of travel show “Trip na Trip.”
