Since the Holy Week has already launched people to go on a vacation, “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon” also took a break from the mundane celebrity issues and featured a celebrities’ bag raid edition for a breather.

Known for featuring the luxurious lifestyle and impossible purchases of celebrities, “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon” highlighted the Kapamilya female celebrities from different genres.

The divas

Actress-host Toni Gonzaga said that she never brought a bag along with her. But before the last year wrapped up, Gonzaga made a resolution to buy a bag, and a designer bag at that.

Concert Queen Pops Fernandez took pride in her favorite Chanel bag filled with products for her kissable lips. She’s been using the bag for three years.

“I always have something for my lips. Di ba? I’m so popular for my lips,” she jested.

The Concert Queen revealed that she has four sets of lip gloss inside her bag.

Singer-actress Karylle, on the other hand brings not just one bag, but two bags – a back pack and a shoulder bag that reflect her contrasting personalities. The contents of her bag include a gigantic speaker given by actor Jericho Rosales who has been allegedly wooing her.

Same with Karylle’s bags, singer-actress Nikki Gil also showed her Balenciaga bag. She revealed her little knick knacks and boyfriend Billy Crawford’s gift to her: an iPhone.

The hostesses

“Y Speak” host Bianca Gonzalez revealed her first and only Louis Vuitton bag. Gonzalez said that her Entertainment Live! co-hosts Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga encouraged her to finally buy a designer bag.

“Pero trivia, this is my one and only at feeling ko only na talaga forever kasi I’m kuripot,” she said.

The hip and fab hosts of “Us Girls” Iya Villania, Cheska Garcia-Kramer and Angel Aquino also paraded their bags. First off, Villania showed her Miu Miu bag which she considers versatile to match with her multiple outfits.

“I’m not the type of girl that often changes bags,” she said.

Garcia let “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon” take a peek inside her bag and said that her bag and most of her things were gifts from her husband and basketball player Doug Kramer.

Aquino, on the other hand, said that her Furla bag made of crocodile skin was a gift from her friend. The host claimed that she always carries a book with her.

The beauties

Beauty queen-actress Precious Lara Quigaman meanwhile placed on view her Prada bag. She said that she bought it in Hawaii during one of “Wowowee’s” shows abroad.

“Underage” star Melissa Ricks also took pride in her bag, and to prove that she’s still a child at heart, she showed her Hello Kitty mirror, as she admitted that the winsome feline is her favorite cartoon character. 

Best actress Anne Curtis presented her very own bag. The actress revealed a touching statement when she showed her mobile phone with her baby sister Claire’s picture as the wall paper.

Inside the celebrities’ bags were essentials like makeup kits, phone charger, bag organizer, mint candies for fresh breath, digital cameras to capture memorable moments and gifts from loved ones.
